Excavation subs

The GCs bidding the work, not the raw letting.

Free for general contractors. Subscriptions for subcontractors. A subcontractor account hides the agency board. You get jobs where a general contractor is already in the chase: names from a public plan-holder list, a public request for sub quotes, or a package a GC posted here. Save a listing and it stays on your Saved tab and on your calendar.

Choose Subcontractor at signup, or switch later in account settings. The same yard filters apply: scopes, radius, value, and states. A 14-day trial, then Starter or Pro, keeps the board open. Without an active plan you land on billing. A general contractor account is free forever.

Plan holder lists

When a state DOT or a city bid page prints the prospective bidders in public HTML, that list becomes one GC opportunity on the underlying job. You see the company name. Email and phone show up only if the agency printed them on that same page.

Public sub solicitations

Good-faith DBE, MBE, and WBE notices, and GC pages that ask for sub quotes in the open, are a separate source. DozerDesk reads the GC, the project, the scopes, the due date, and the contact as published. A page behind a login is skipped.

Packages posted here

A general contractor posts a sub bid package at no charge: project, location, scopes, quantities, due date, a plans link, pre-bid notes, and bonding, insurance, or DBE requirements. An operator approves it before it reaches your board. General contractor accounts stay free and never see the agency board.

What you can do with a match

Ask for plans

Interested / Request plans emails the GC through DozerDesk. That mail goes out because you clicked. DozerDesk does not write the agency, register you as a plan holder, or submit a quote.

Save the bids you will price

Save or Unsave sits on each opportunity. The Saved tab lists those items with due dates, and the same saved rows feed the calendar. Digests stay on matching GC opportunities. A general contractor does not get the agency board, other GCs' packages, or an agency digest.

Public pages only. If robots.txt disallows the path, or the list sits behind a sign-in, that source adds nothing.
