Terms of Service

These terms are a starting draft for DozerDesk. Replace the bracketed items with the operating company, the governing state, and the support address before customers pay.

The service

DozerDesk watches public procurement pages, extracts fields that are printed there, and scores them against a qualification profile the customer sets. DozerDesk does not submit bids, register as a plan holder, or contact an agency on a customer's behalf.

Accounts and the trial

The person who opens a company is the owner. They can invite teammates. A 14-day Starter trial starts when the company is created. No card is required. When Stripe is configured, checkout can replace that trial with a paid plan. After a paid subscription starts, it renews at the price shown unless the customer cancels in the Stripe customer portal.

What the customer still has to do

Scores and extracted fields can be wrong or incomplete. A blank field means the source did not state it. The customer is responsible for reading the official notice, the addenda, and the plans before bidding.

Acceptable use

Do not share a login, scrape the DozerDesk app, or use the product to send mail to agencies. API keys are secrets. The owner of a company can revoke a key by minting a new one.

Ending the subscription

Cancel in the Stripe customer portal. Access continues through the paid period already billed. [Add the refund rule your lawyer approves.]

Liability

[Have counsel write the warranty disclaimer and the liability cap. A typical cap is the fees paid in the prior three months. Do not publish this sentence as-is.]
